Braided E-Glass fibre packing is a high strength product recommended for heavy duty applications.
It is made from texturized E-Glass fibre filaments and has low compressibility. Coating the packing with graphite increases lubricity.
The fibres used in the packing cause less skin irritation than coarser fibres. Chemical Properties Braided E-Glass packing has excellent chemical stability and can resist most corrosive agents.
However, it is not resistant to Hydrofluoric Acids, Phosphoric Acids, and Concentrated Alkalies. It also does not contain water of hydration.
