Non-asbestos and Graphite Blend Rubber Gasket Sheeting
Novus 49 is an innovative compressed non-asbestos sheet material that uniquely combines a significant proportion of graphite with reinforcing aramid fibers, along with a minor component of rubber binder. This composition not only enhances its structural integrity but also contributes to its outstanding mechanical characteristics, making it a versatile material suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Its robust formulation allows it to perform exceptionally well in environments involving exposure to oils, various solvents, and high-pressure steam, as well as different gases, including oxygen.
One of the remarkable features of Novus 49 is its ability to endure high temperatures, capable of withstanding up to +420 degrees Celsius, which is equivalent to approximately 788 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermal resistance makes it an ideal choice for applications in industries where extreme heat is a constant factor. Furthermore, Novus 49 is engineered to handle a maximum pressure of 100 bar, thereby ensuring reliability and safety in high-pressure environments.
The use of aramid fibers, known for their strength and heat resistance, coupled with the lubricating properties of graphite, offers enhanced performance, reducing wear and tear and extending the lifespan of components made from this material. The combination of these materials creates a composite that is not only durable but also has the flexibility to adapt to various sealing and gasketing needs across multiple sectors, including automotive, aerospace, and chemical processing industries.
Novus 49 stands out as a high-performance material with a comprehensive range of applications, providing exceptional durability under demanding conditions, thus ensuring both efficiency and safety in industrial operations.
