PTFE & Graphited Yarn Packing (GFO equivalent)

PTFE & Graphited Yarn Packing (GFO equivalent)

Cor-Pack GRF 260

Construction:
The graphited PTFE packing GRF 260 is braided from soft graphited
PTFE yarn. This material is based on expanded, oriented fluorocarbon
thin strips, which are incorporated with super fine flake graphite as a
high temperature lubricant and an improver of thermal conductivity.

Properties:
The graphited PTFE has a high chemical resistance, the low
coefficient of friction, the good thermal conductance and excellent
mechanical properties. This is a soft and flexible material, easy to form
and reliable in the montage, therefore is a highly respected, popular
mechanical packing with wide spectrum of uses in pumps and other
dynamic applications.

Applications:
This packing is designed to sealing up the most of pump glands,
which are working with pure liquids or little polluted but not abrasive
media. This is a suitable packing to work with the most of substances and
chemicals but with exception of very strong oxidants

All properties and application parameters shown throughout this table are
approximate and may be mutually influenced. Your specific application should not
be undertaken without independent study and evaluation of qualification. Before
apply, the indication and figures should be examined by the potential users.
